The HSTH Series Flexible Thermistor Sensors are hermetically sealed at the sensor tip to provide continuous protection from corrosive environments. This unique Thermistor temperature probe design provides a small, flexible, and electrically isolated Thermistor element, suited to a variety of applications. The HSTH Series is available in three resistance values: 2252Ω, 5000Ω and 10000Ω.

If you need higher operating temperatures, see our RTD Version or Thermocouple Version which may be a better fit for your application.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing! Quality control and customer service needs improvement! I ordered 6 and only got 3 that worked. I sent the 3 bad ones back, and after months of waiting for the sensors that I needed months ago, I finally received 2 good ones and 1 bad one. I will not be using Omega again. Very disappointing!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Precise Temperature Control Fairly accurate, but tip is delicate and you cannot bend it too much otherwise the internal thermistor breaks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Need to improve quality control This sensor is great when you get one that works. I ordered 6 and 3 didn't work. No prob I contacted Omega and they said send it back and we will send you new ones. After months of waiting they sent me 3 replacement sensors. Only two of those 3 sensors actually worked. I will not be using Omega for my futher needs.

Is this a NTC(negative temperature coefficient) thermistor?

Asked by: MDesj
Thank you for your email . The HSTH-44031-120 uses a NTC thermistor which drops in resistance with increase temperature . The Thermistor Resistance vs. Temperature table is found per the attached link https://www.omega.co.uk/temperature/Z/pdf/z256-257.pdf

Is it possible to immerse this in a tube of flowing water (diameter of 15 mm) to monitor the temperature of the water? if you know another kind of thermistor that can do this job, I would be grateful if you could provide me with their link. Thank you
