I need to seal a hole in a fiberglass hot tub where the light fixture was; it is broken and not available.  The 5" should cover the hole.  Is this suitable for hot tubs?

Asked by: Papadoc3
Thank you for your inquiry. This hole plug is designed for electrical enclosures only and is not water tight. Not recommended or tested for hot tubs.

I need a plug to fill a 2" diameter hole. Is the diameter in the product description, the hole diameter or the outer diameter of the plug. Thanks

Asked by: Bruce the moose
Hello Bruce In the product description mentioned above, that is the diameter of the hole it can cover. Looking at the table on the second page of the data sheet, find the range of the diameter hole size you mentioned under the 'Enclosure Hole Dia. Range' column, it will show you the two part numbers (one light, one dark grey) that will work with it.

I am looking to plug a 4in. hole in a wooden board. Can only access from one side. Will this work?

Asked by: First home lessons
Thank you for your inquiry. These hole plugs are designed for electrical enclosures with a wall thickness maximum of 1/4 inch and both sides must be accessed. Not recommended for a wooden board and will not work.
