Hi.. What is the input impedance, output impedance and insulation resistance of LC 304-100 load cell?

Asked by: Ravi R
Hello, Resistance will indicate much voltage is required to produce a current. Impedance generally extends the concept of resistance to changing voltages. In addition to telling you just how much current is produced; it also indicates how much the current lags behind the voltage. In short, it gives both amplitude and phase relationship between voltage and current. So I believe you are looking for the input and output resistance: in case of the LC304 nominal input and output bridge resistance will be 350 ohms. The insulation resistance is not listed, please email us your application at pressure@omega.com, we will review and advise if this product will be viable for your needs.

What is the sensitivity of this device?

Asked by: EdgarV
Nominal sensitivity of the LC304 Series is 2mV/V which would give you a 0 to 20 mV output signal across the calibrated range of the load cell with the 10VDC excitation supplied.

Is the output signal linear enough to use a multimeter to measure voltage and convert manually to load?

Asked by: EGS1
Hello, The output should be linear across the range. Initially you will have to measure the mV output at no load and full load to plot your slope. Once you have your slope you will be able to compute load vs mV outputs.

is this a full, half, or quarter bridge device?

Asked by: DanielM
This is a full bridge device

Is this model compatible with NI and LabView?

Asked by: darren
This load cell is simply a strain gage bridge device the produces a linear millvolt output over the load range of the cell. NI and Labview should have devices the accept this type of signal. NI for sure has devices the will both power the load cell and read the signal output
