OMEGA’s LC201 Series subminiature load cell is designed for the demanding environment of industrial automation and robotics. With a diameter of only 0.75" (19 mm) and all stainless steel construction, it can fit into small systems and survive harsh environments. The LC201 delivers high accuracy and long term reliability in a subminiature package.

The LC 201 is also available in metric configurations, with ranges from 0-100 to 0-500 N and metric threads. Please see the LCM201 for complete details, or contact our Pressure department for more information..

Can this be used in a two in parallel configuration? Any considerations with this?

Asked by: Slippy
Hello, the load cells has a nominal output of 2 mV/V but please note that they are not interchangeable, meaning both load cells will not put out an exact 2 mV/V at full load. So if you run them in parallel, you will see some deviation in output.

Is there data available regarding the expected life in cycles?

Asked by: jmadvint
Our load cells have been tested to greater than 100,000 cycles

When I mount this loadcell I have to have pressure on the threaded pieces of the cell ? Otherwise it wont work !!!! or am I missing something ?

Asked by: Woods
Thank you for your inquire You are correct The force is to be applied to the threads only do not bottom out or you will get incorrect readings

What would be the maximum load that could be applied to the cell before damage would be induced? For example I have an application where I need accurate results up to 80N but I have intermittent loads up to 180N but I do not need data above 80N.

Asked by: Alex Milburn
Thank you for your question? The LCM201-100N Has a maximum rating of 150n. So no you can not go to 180n

Is there any way to have a "special" mode in order to operate above 120°C ? I need to perform some measurements at 150°C. Thank in advance,

Asked by: Jeff R
Yes. We can provide an extended temperature compensation for the LC201/LCM201 Series load cells. By adding a "-TC2" suffix at the end of the part number the compensated temperature range would be increased 180C. You would need to add $125.00 to the base price of the load.

What's the best way to calibrate the LC201-100? We are currently using known weights to do the calibration, but the values we are getting are not making sense.

Asked by: VeeD
The correct way to calibrate a load cell is to use known loads. If you getting odd reading it may be the instrumentation you are using to read the signal is setup. Suggest you contact us at 1-800-826-6342 and request Pressure product technical assistance. We will you verify your setup.

I'm confused about the 2 mV/V output spec. For the LC201-300, if I have a 12V excitation and a 100 lb load, what should the output voltage be? Please include the calculation equation. Thanks!

Asked by: JohnK
Thank you for your inquiry The load cell will work up to 15 vdc. At 12 vdc you will get a 20% higher output the what was on your calibration sheet. Hope this was helpful?
