I have a friend that has a SV8COIL-12DC and I am trying to help him trouble shoot its operation. Is there a data sheet for this device? I would like to know why there are three terminals on the coil instead of just two.

Asked by: GeoffProbert
Thank you for your inquiry about the solenoid valve coil. Unfortunately, this is no dedicated data sheet for the coil, although, to wire it up, the 2 prongs facing each other are the positive and negative and flat blade at the bottom is ground.
