The HHF1000 series handheld air velocity/temperature meter measures and displays air velocity and air temperature in research and development labs, HVAC applications, and other manufacturing processes. The sensor design is based on three RTD elements, one measures air temperature and the other two measures air velocity due to the heat loss from the RTD sensor as it cools down by the air flow. The sensor probe is offered in two configurations, fixed probe and remote telescopic probe. The HHF1000 series offers many standard features such as high and low alarm indication, USB PC serial interface with a Windows based data logging software, adjustable display response time, volume air flow readout, and atmospheric pressure compensation. The HHF1000 displays the air velocity in different Engineering units such as FPM, m/sec, Miles/Hour, and Km/ hour. The air temperature is displayed in ºF and ºC.

Is there a replacement probe available for the telescopic probe? Do I need to send the unit in for that one like the fixed probe? If so why?

Asked by: PAS43
Thank you for your inquiry on this product. Unfortunately, there is no replacement probe to swap out and must be returned to be calibrated correctly via a firm ware in our Instrumentation Lab.

Hi, Can this probe measure velocity in the range from 0 m/se to 0.02 m/s?

Asked by: Ahmed53
Thank you for your inquiry about the anemometer. That is a very tight velocity and unfortunately, it may not be as effective to measure that low of a flow.

Hi, could i relate it to a data acquisition with Labview or USB to make a real time velocity/temperature plots.thanks

Asked by: moun1992
Thank you for your inquiry. The anemometer is equipped with a cable to install to your PC and software is downloaded from the Product Page or you may use the wireless option as well to obtain real-time data.

The data sheet lists minimum range of this to 0 FPM. Can you confirm that this is capable of accurately measuring flows below 20FPM?

Asked by: Engineer6395
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, this hot wire anemometer can measure below 20 FPM in velocity.

I want to read data from the anemometer using serial communication implemented in a data acquisition system. Is this possible? And is there any documentation about commands and syntax if this is an option? Thanks

Asked by: Phil801
Thank you for your inquiry. Please send an email request to flow@omega.com and can have our Instrumentation Group the information for this anemometer.

Are there replacement probes available for this Anemometer?

Asked by: JohnQ
Thank you for your inquiry. We can replace the probe for this meter but we require our customer's to send their meter in. The sensor probes are not field replaceable.
