The size of the potted junction between lead wire and element is kept as small as possible. Note: These elements are not intended for direct immersion into liquids. Have been using TH-44033-36-T-PP with a handheld thermometer (450-ATH, discontinued); work very well; however, my most recent purchased of the same TH-44033-36-T-PP gives completely off readings (0C read as -24C). What could be wrong? How to troubleshoot?
