Rated 3 out of 5 by from deformed tip; inconsistent manufacturing Three of the 5 devices had unequal lengths of wire emerging at the tip, so when welded the tip junction was pulled to one side and even pulled back a bit. My expectation was that the tip would lay along the central axis of the wire so that I could advance the tip to just touch a surface, and only two devices met that expectation. Better manufacturing control is needed.

Is 5SRTC-TT-K-24-120 thermocouple UL listed or IEC 60584-1?

The 5SRTC series Thermocouples are not UL recognized but meet the IEC 60584-2 Tolerance Class 1.

What is the lowest Temperature that they read and what is the accuracy?

Hi, the lowest temperature depends on the Thermocouple type you choose and it depends upon the insulation material you choose as well; it’s a combining factor. I wish to place some thermocouples in a wood fired bread oven. They would need to be able to measure temperatures up to 650°F, and the cables would be subjected to these temperatures too. Which thermocouples and insulation types do you recommend for this.

Thank you for your inquiry. Fiberglass insulation is rated to 900°F, however, maximum temperatures are still stipulated by each thermocouple type and wire diameter.

Hi, could you please give me some recommendations of k-type thermocouples (air probe) that are compatible with HHM32? Besides, are these thermocouples calibrated before? If not, should I calibrate them or purchase calibration-certified thermocouples?

The HHM32 only uses a Type K Thermocouple with a miniature connector. From the series you refer you can select from the 5SRTC or 5SC series in type K and the probes will come with a Certificate of Conformance to ensure they meet the published specifications.

Is there a related product that fits into the connector and has two leads off of it (positive & negative) to put into another connector?

Is there special Fittings designed for this flat wire coupler to seal around the wire for oiled bearing assembly housings? Compression Fittings are only designed for Round Tubular couplers. Not Flat wire couplers. Please help!

Do the purchased Thermocouples come with documentation of calibration?

Thank you for your inquiry JTS1. No, the standard thermocouple only comes with CAL-1 (certificate of conformance) but CAL-3 (three temperature point calibration) could be added using the configurator.
