OMEGA™ miniature dual element thermocouple probe assemblies are manufactured using 4-conductor OMEGACLAD™ wire, and feature SMP subminiature connectors for fast hook-up. 304 SS sheaths are standard, with either 0.062" or 0.125" O.D. Junctions are either grounded, ungrounded or exposed. Mating connectors are included. Standard length is 6", with other lengths available..

How much of the dual element thermocouples need to be in contact with the medium being measured? I'm specifically interested in the 6" air probes. Thanks!

Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend exposing 10 times the diameter of the probe, starting from the tip, into the medium being measured.
