The OM-62 temperature/relative humidity data logger is an easy-to-use, versatile device which can be used for a wide range of logging applications. The OM-62 is capable of sampling as fast as once per second or as slow as every 18 hours. A total of 43,344 temperature measurements can be stored in the data logger memory if only temperature is measured, or 21,672 measurements for temperature and humidity.

In addition to measuring temperature and relative humidly, the easy-to-use Windows software included with the OM-62 data logger calculates and displays the dew point temperature. The software is a full-featured program that allows you to set up all data logger functions including sampling rate, logging duration, start mode, logging mode, and high and low temperature and relative humidity alarm values.
Once data has been logged, the program then allows you to download data from the logger, plot the data and export the data to an ASCII text or Excel file format for further analysis.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from small size and great efficiency My experience with this instrument is short but up to date it works very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OM-52 The Portable Low-cost Temp /Rel. Humidity Loggers are a little too sensitive to jarring like when the trucks have to go on bumpy roads.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Slow to respond and short life span These are old technology and very slow to respond. They have to be downloaded to get data and the info is not accurate to the time it was gathered. Changes in environment may take 10 min to show up on the data loggers report and at high and low ranges may take an hour or more to respond.

We are trying to run a OM-63 Temperature Data Logger on Windows 10 and get an error 300 dialog box. We do not and will not have administrator priviledges and the interwebs have a couple indications this is the problem. How can we resolve this?

Asked by: Clayton
Hello, Disconnect the USB cable, Go to your Windows Start Menu, Click on My computer (or it may be just computer) Click on the “C” drive Click on Program Files (X86) Click on the Omega Log Folder (Maybe just Omega) Click on the USB Driver Folder Click on the executable file and run the installation (This will happen very quick you may not even notice it more than just a flash) Close everything out Plug the USB cable back in Wait a minute or so to let the driver fully load, Launch the software and try to communicate.

Hello. I am wondering if this device would be suitable to monitor the temperature in a vaccine storage unit. What I want to know is if the refrigerator goes outside of 2'-8' C, will I be able to accurately determine for how long it was out of range?

Asked by: Cathie
Please note if you want to record the data, then OM-63 is ideal. However, If they want an alarm to tell you when your unit went out of range without accessing the data, then this is not the unit for them. What they really need in that case is the OM-THA2. The OM-THA2 with both provide an alarm AND record the data. https://www.omega.com/pptst/OM-THA2-U.html
