Then, use the non-contactinfrared to get the surfacetemperature. What is the maximum distance you can get a temperature?
It depends on the dimensions of what you are measuring. In this case, if the item is 1 inch wide, then you would have a maximum distance of 12 inches. Hence, the field of view is 12:1 ratio. (As long as you fill the field of view).
