Additional Features

The DPG108 Series is a versatile family of industrial pressure/vacuum gauges. All DPG108 models feature a large 10 mm (7/16") high digital display. A ¼-18 NPT 316 stainless steel fitting is standard for the pressure connection. Media compatibility includes all liquids and gases compatible with 316 SS and NBR. The DPG108 Series features a wide operating temperature range of -20 to 70°C (-4 to 160°F). Many standard pressure/vacuum ranges, with 5 selectable pressure units are available. The series features accuracy of 0.25% FS.

The DPG108 is powered by a standard 9V battery that can operate the gauge continuously for more than 2000 hours. All DPG108 models include an adjustable 0 to 15-minute auto shutoff feature to conserve battery life. A Silicone boot is standard offering IP-68 protection. The DPG108 is widely used in hydro-power, water, petroleum, chemical, mechanical, hydraulic, and other industries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Economical calibration component I purchased a DPG-108-100G gauge early 2022 to use for calibrating pressure switches that I use with controls in my hobby greenhouse. I had to partially slice the silicone boot to access the battery compartment door. This is not a problem as I only use this indoors for calibrations. 0.25% accuracy is sufficient for my applications. My only wish is that I could change the decimal point from xxx.x to xx.xx when using the PSIG scale.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fine but ordered wrong one easy to order. Almost to easy. I did not review and ordered wrong one by accident.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Daily Use We use these daily for checking pressure on a gas distribution system. For the price they are hard to beat. As long as you don't abuse it or let moisture and dirt into the transducer it holds up well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Received; ready to integrate in our system We have not yet used this but it looks pretty good.

Is there any risk of damage when applying vacuum (<0.1 bar abs) to a unit designed to read gauge pressure?

Asked by: umcv
Hello, applying a small vacuum in the range of -1 psi will not affect your unit, but please note that in the long run, you may affect your zero/span.

Is it water-resistant?

Asked by: Dylan12
Yes it is. Although it isn't shown in the photo the gauge comes standard with a silicone rubber boot. Rating is indicated in the specifications as IP68

I am looking for battery installation instructions for DPG108-100G unit that I purchased a few weeks ago.

Asked by: bimal
There is battery cover secured by a small screw on the back of the unit. You can't see it because there is a very tight fitting silicone rubber boot covering case of gauge. You'll have to pull it off to get to the battery compartment. Battery is a standard 9V alkaline battery.

How exactly do you remove silicone boot

Asked by: But ax
Thank you for your inquiry, the Silicon boot\O-ring is a press fit, you should be able to pull it open.

What is the resolution on the pressure readings?

Asked by: jodo
Depending on the range the unit should have a resolution of 0.01 PSI

For gauge pressure models, is the accuracy +/- 0.25% of the reading or +/- 0.25% of full scale? The PDF manual implies the former, while the website write-up indicates the latter. Which is correct?

Asked by: umcv
The accuracy rating of this gauge is % of full scale range.

Do these gauges come with a NIST traceable calibration certificate?

Asked by: dan27606
Thank you for contacting Omega Engineering. Sorry but the DPG108 series gauges do not come standard with a calibration certificate. You can request it at time of order for an extra charge and lead time. Please contact our sales department for part number, price and lead time. Please feel free to contact us again if you have any additional questions.
