Panel Punches
The panel punches are designed to create panel cut outs for OMEGA's family of thermocouple connectors. Three styles of panel punches are available. The CP series is for rectangular connectors, the RHS is for round connectors and the DPP are DIN sized panel punches.

RHS Hole Saws
Use your hand drill or drill press to fabricate jack panels with hole saws and around hole connectors. When the plate is too thick for punches, the saw is the solution. Complete assembly including saw, pilot drill, and mandril.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NEEDS IMPROVEMENT THE PUNCH DID CUT A HOLE IN THE PANEL BUT IT BECAME WEDGED IN THE HOLE IT MADE. HAD TO REMOVE THE TOOL WITH A HAMMER. WILL NOT USE IT EVER AGAIN.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good punch I've used the 1/4 DIN punch for a few years now and am very happy with it. Excellent value and always a clean hole. It has worked on all the 14 ga panels I have tried so far. I have used it 20+ times. The threads are getting a little galled now but I just oil them then start tightening. Not sure if your supposed to, but I use a heavy duty air impact wrench, way easier and less twisting on the panel hinges or whatever part of the panel structure you are punching.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor durability I bought the CP-5. I tried to punch a hole in a Hoffman 3 door standing enclosure and the punch broke on the first try. Apparently it is unable to handle that guage steel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Engineering/Fabrication A better design would be to have no step on the outside surface of Die so it could pull all the way through the punched hole. Thus allowing easier removal of tool after punching hole.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broke on the First Use The bolt used to pull the punch through the panel broke on the first use. It was being using on a 14awg mild steel panel and operated by hand. I would have rated it 1 star, but Omega made it easy to return the product for a refund.
