The FTB370 Series flow turbines are designed for flow rate measurement of water and many water based liquids. They are compact in design and have a wide measuring range. The liquid flowing into the FTB370 series is divided by guiding blades into four split streams. The uniform loading of the bearings from four sides causes the forces to cancel themselves out and wear gets reduced to a minimum. The extremely hard bearing materials also ensure an extraordinary life expectancy.

Does Omega have a compatible display with units of flow (l/min, g/min)?  The DFP78 meter only displays temperature.

Asked by: DG203
Thank you for your inquiry. The DPF78 meter will display flow rate and is compatible with the amplified square wave from the turbine flow meter.

Do you need any straight length up and/or downstream of this flow meter?

Asked by: Mech E
Thank you for your inquiry. It is always recommended to have straight run piping upstream and downstream to have a Laminar profile passing thru the flow meter and to avoid any turbulence. It is 10x pipe diameter Up and 5x pipe diameters Down.
