The DPG4000 series has been replaced by the DPG210 series . The new DPG210 series has premium features, the same high accuracy, and a lower price point. Many ranges are in stock, available for immediate shipment.

The DPG4000 takes the concept of a test gauge to a new level. It combines the accuracy of digital technology with the simplicity of an analog gauge, delivering performance, ease of use, and a feature set unmatched in the pressure measurement world. Setup of the DPG4000 is fast and straightforward, involving a menu driven display with minimal text and intuitive functions. The gauge is simple enough to be used anywhere in the world, without the need for multilingual displays.

It also incorporates a built in data logging function which when combined with the DPG4000-SW software allows it to function as a high performance pressure data logger. The unit can store up to 8500 data points which can then be downloaded and stored in a variety of formats including ASCII text, comma delimited text, and Micorsoft Excel Spreadsheet using the software. The software can also be used to configure a wide range of settings including logging interval, number of data points per run, capture mode and type of data.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weak link - aluminum fitting We have 3-4 of the gauges. They are good gauges, but there is one flaw that cannot be overlooked. There is a weak aluminum fitting that connects that gauge to the process. On a couple of gauges, this fitting has cracked on us while installing, rendering the gauge useless. Recently, we had this fitting break during a 2,000 psi pressure test. We have declared this gauge unfit for use in our organization. Omega should reconsider this design.

I recently purchased this gauge based on it having an RS232 capability. I see the cable is no longer available for purchase. Is it possible to get the pin out and I can make my own RS232 cable?

Asked by: chris1977
9 pin D connector on one end of cable. 3 segment phone jack on the other. Tip of jack connects to pin 2 on connector (receive). Center of jack connects to pin 3 on connector (transmit). Bottom segment of jack connects to pin 5 of connector (ground)
