The TX206TH is a cost effective “smart” in head transmitter that accepts thermistor temperature sensors and converts sensor output over a configured range to a standard industrial (4 to 20) mA transmission signal.

A variety of thermistor types are available when using the configuration software: select thermistor type, temperature range, units and burnout direction, without requiring calibration equipment.

PC configuration is performed quickly using our new USB port driven configurator by simply connecting two clips to the TX206TH loop terminals and following the software instructions. Calibration set-up may be saved as a file on the PC for later use.

Alternatively, a single pushbutton and LED indicator allows the user to configure transmitter range against a manually set input condition. A red LED is included to help guide the user. The LED also operates as a sensor error indicator.

Transmitters can be factory configured for any range specified at the time of order, removing the need for user configuration. Extra lead time is required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from universal generic programmable transmitter I purchased this with the hope I could program it to my own NTC thermistor which I succeeded in doing with a resistor decade box, power supply, and milliamp meter. It will monitor motor stators on a semi-hermetic compressor. Thermistor transmitters are hard to find. I was lucky to find this one. It can be programmed in less than a minute once you are set up.

The default input range for this sensor should be from 93.05 ohm to 481924.5 ohm for a temperature range of -55 degC to 150 degC. But in the xml, it states the input range is from 9.12 to 465.46 for same range, how does it works?

Asked by: KH Lou
The input range above I am referring to US Sensor PS502J2.

Is this product working with 20K NTC thermistors as well?

Asked by: catavio
Thank you for the question Catavio. The free software includes library folder for US Sensors. Your element must follow the same Steinhart-Hart constants as the US Sensors' 20K element. Best regards OMEGA
