Rated 5 out of 5 by from Irreplaceable Tool Needed The Omega RTD Handheld Data Logger Thermometer allows us to retrieve the data we need to fine tune our testing systems. We use it here at an engineering firm where we design and manufacture advanced testing systems for material characterization. We consider the RTD Thermometer an irreplaceable tool we need to do our job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High accuracy and inexpensive Great little handheld with 2 digits of precision after the decimal. Data logging for charting responses, easy connect to computer for download of data. We use it to monitor differential temps near 100C and it’s very repeatable. Also nice is the 120V adapter so no worry about battery life. Highly recommend.

What would be the combined tolerance in °C @ 400°C? I'm getting conflicting answers with the probe being an A Grade.

Asked by: Earl
The total accuracy is the sum total of meter ±(0.05% reading + 0.1°C) and probe ±(0.15 + 0.002 · l t l )°C At 400 C the tolerance is +/- 1.05 C

I just got a brand new HH376 today, and noticed that when powering up, the display shows a number...."15959" and then the number disappears. I could not find any reference to this in the user manual and cant understand why this number shows up.

Asked by: Bob8900
Thank you for your inquiry. That number represents the number data logging points remaining in the unit.

Can you explain the accuracy spec? It reads 23+/-5°C, with no spec, then a range spec for -100 to +400°C.

Asked by: RPMS
The 23 +/-5 C is the ambient temperature the meter needs to be in to meet the accuracy specification over the measurement range.

NIST traceable option?

Asked by: Bumbleguy
Thank you for your inquiry. Unit is supplied with a NIST certificate (No Points). For an additional cost you can order with a NIST certificate with points.

Hi, i use your Omega 376 during years. There is a some drift observed in the temperature reading when we are comparing it with the standard T points. Is it possible to adjust/correct the reading of the indicator?

Asked by: Levan
If there is drift make sure you follow the criteria for the proper insertion depth shown in the user's guide. In section 9.1 there is a procedure for adjusting the HH376 to match a known value.
