NOTES:
1
To minimize signal distortion when driving long cables or high-vibration signals, 24 to 30 Vdc powering is recommended. The higher-level constant current source should be used when driving long cables.
2 A maximum current of 6 mA is recommended for operating temperatures above 100°C (212°F).

I need your confirmation about the maximum distance between the sensor and the PLC, in this moment our client have 70 meters between sensor and PLC, I need confirmation about the required cable for this sensor. The client have a model 1756-IA16I.

Asked by: EmmanuelCaceres
Cabling for accelerometers need to kept as short as possible. If you are need to run a signal a long distance you would have to convert the signal 4 to 20mADC signal. Omega does not offer this type of signal conditioning. We suggest you contact someone like Dytran Instruments for a complete system consisting of the sensor, cabling and signal conditioning
