The LD620 series has been replaced by the new and improved LD600A series. Many ranges are in stock, available for immediate shipment. Link "LD600A Series" in redirected to the LD600A page LD621A-100

The LD620 DC output displacement tranducers have improved IP67- rated sealing, coupled with new polymer guides with rigid carriers. These transducers are accurate and reliable, especially in wet and corrosive conditions. Output options are either ±5 Vdc (LD620) or 0-10 Vdc (LD621). An unusually large bore-to-core clearance is maintained throughout the range. This makes installation easier and helps prevent misalignment on automation actuators and other industrial automation controls.

I have a LD621-15 that I'm using to test Frequency Response of a Hydraulic actuator. I would like to knot what kind of latency (in Seconds or Fractions of a second) there is in the internal electronics of the output signal?

Asked by: MLW58
Thank you for you inquiry. Unfortunately there is no data available on the lag between movement to the rod and signal response of the LD621

Is this model spring-loaded? If so, in which direction (i.e. does it always try to stay extended, or retracted)?

Asked by: JDwight
Yes it is spring-loaded in the extended position

we have a couple LD621-5's on the shelf and would like to verify if they are good, is there a good procedure to do this with multimeter?

Asked by: caddleman
Thank you for your inquire Best is to energize the unit and stretch-out the 5 mm and you should get a 10 volt output. Hope this was helpful

Hi, When the output is +-5 Vdc and the range is +-10 mm, does it mean the core moves on both ends of the LVDT? Or does one end always fixed, no matter what the electrical output is?

Asked by: Arian
Yes, One armature move in and out to provide +/-5Vdc output. Please click on manuals and downloads Tab. See user M4345 user manual for more tech info.

Two quick questions: What is the accuracy of the measurement? (we are looking for submillimeter accuracy) Do you have off the shelf units to plug this into and get measurement data out of?

Asked by: BFrank
Hello, the linearity of measurement will be 0.2% of your Full Span. We do not carry a LVDT that can measure in sub millimeter accuracy.

Hi, is one end fixed and the other end moves freely?

Asked by: Arian
Yes, this is one direction LVDT from to 0 to 20mm with 0 to 10VDC output. One armature moves.
